J.D. Power #1 Carryover
The 2025 won #1 for initial quality among full-size pickups. The 2026 carries the same platform, powertrains, and build quality.
Factory-signed. Individually allocated.
Silverado special editions take a base trim and add unique styling. Allocation is tight and most sell out before the next model year arrives. If you are thinking about one, start the conversation early.
Stars and Steel Edition
A 2026-only RST package honoring American craftsmanship. Exclusive badging, unique wheel finish, and interior trim accents you cannot get on a standard RST. Limited allocation — we get a handful.
Redline Edition
Blacked-out grille, mirror caps, bowtie emblems, and 20-inch gloss-black wheels with red accents. Pairs best with Black or Polar White Tricoat.
Rally Edition
Twin-stripe hood graphics running the length of the truck — a modern homage to the 1970s SS Silverados. LT-based, so you still get the 13.4-inch screen and digital cluster.
Midnight Edition
Black paint, black trim, black wheels, black bowties, black skid plates. Based on the Custom Trail Boss so you keep the 2-inch factory lift and locking rear diff.
ZR2 Bison (AEV)
The most capable factory Silverado ever built. Co-developed with AEV — boron-steel skid plates, stamped-steel bumpers with recovery points, and functional hood vents.
Custom Factory Order
None of these hitting right? Build exactly what you want from the factory. We walk you through build-and-price, submit the order, and keep you updated through production. Lock in incentives on order date.
Most editions are gone before they hit the lot. Tell us which one you are after and we will check incoming allocations and get you on the list.
Ask About Incoming Allocations →Silverado vs. F-150.
The truck most of our customers cross-shop. Published specs, no cherry-picking. We sell Chevys, but you deserve an honest comparison.
The honest verdict: F-150 edges us by 200 lbs on max tow — a single ratchet-strap of difference. On the trade-offs that matter to real buyers, Silverado wins: $1,810 lower entry price, the only diesel in the half-ton class (with class-best 28 MPG highway), 15% more cargo volume in the bed, more standard torque, a tailgate with 6 modes vs. 2, and the J.D. Power #1 initial-quality ranking for 2025. That is a lot of truck for $1,810 less.

Why should I buy a 2026 Silverado 1500 instead of the competition?
We have been selling Silverados at Marty's since we opened in 2016, and we are going to give it to you straight. The Silverado was named America's #1 full-size pickup for initial quality by J.D. Power in 2025 — that's data from actual owners across 227 problem areas. You get best-in-class standard torque with the TurboMax engine, the only diesel option in the half-ton class with the Duramax, and a Durabed cargo area with 89.1 cubic feet of volume that beats Ford, Ram, and Toyota. Add in 13,300 lbs of max towing, up to 14 available camera views, and available Super Cruise hands-free driving with trailering on the High Country, and it's hard to find a better combination of capability, technology, and value.
How does the 2026 Silverado compare to the Ford F-150 and Ram 1500?
Honest breakdown: the F-150 edges the Silverado by about 200 lbs on max towing (13,500 vs 13,300). Most buyers will never tow anywhere near those numbers. Where the Silverado pulls ahead is engine variety — it's the only half-ton that still offers a diesel with the Duramax 3.0L (495 lb-ft, 28 MPG highway). Ford dropped their diesel, Ram dropped the EcoDiesel. The Silverado is also the only truck with Super Cruise hands-free driving that works while towing. Ram has the smoothest ride thanks to coil springs out back — a real advantage if you drive empty most of the time. But the Silverado counters with best-in-class cargo volume at 89.1 cubic feet and the J.D. Power #1 ranking for initial quality.
Is the 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 reliable?
Strong track record. The 2025 model received the #1 ranking for initial quality among large light-duty pickups from J.D. Power, measuring real owner-reported problems across 227 categories during the first 90 days. The 2026 carries the same proven fourth-generation platform, the same powertrains, and the same build quality. Every new Silverado comes with a 3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and a 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty. Our service center is staffed with ASE-certified technicians using full Chevrolet diagnostic equipment.
What are the benefits of leasing versus buying a Silverado?
Leasing is smart if you like driving a new truck every 2-3 years and want a lower monthly payment. You're under warranty for basically the entire lease term. With the 2026 being the last year of this generation before the redesigned 2027 arrives, leasing now means you can jump into the next-gen model when your lease is up. Buying makes more sense if you put serious miles on your truck, plan to keep it long-term, or want to build equity. Our finance team lays out both options side by side with actual numbers so you can make the right call.
What deals are currently available on the 2026 Silverado 1500 at Marty's Chevrolet?
For May 2026, the 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 has a stack of strong offers. Headline: 0% APR for 60 months on the 5.3L V8 for well-qualified GM Financial buyers, OR — as an alternative — $7,000 Total Cash Allowance with an eligible trade ($4,250 + $1,750 Bonus + $1,000 Trade-Assistance). Current Chevrolet lessees can step into a Crew Cab 4WD LT TurboMax for $379/month for 36 months with $2,309 due at signing through GM Financial's Ultra-Low-Mileage program. Layered on top: $1,000 Military Appreciation cash for eligible service members, plus Costco Auto Program savings ($1,250 Executive / $1,000 standard). All offers require new retail delivery by June 1, 2026. See full disclosures ›
Which Silverado 1500 trim level is the best value?
The LT and RST are the sweet spots. The LT at $47,900 gives you the 13.4-inch touchscreen, the 12.3-inch driver display, LED headlamps, and a much more refined interior. The RST at $51,300 adds sport styling with body-color bumpers and available 20-inch black wheels. For work-truck buyers, the WT at $36,900 comes with the TurboMax engine making 430 lb-ft of torque. If budget is less of a concern, the High Country at $62,900 brings premium leather, open-pore wood trim, and available Super Cruise. Compare all nine trims ›
Is the TurboMax engine good enough or do I need the V8?
This is the question we get most. The 2.7L TurboMax makes 430 lb-ft of torque — actually more than the 5.3L V8's 383 lb-ft. Not a typo. The four-cylinder turbo produces more torque than the V8 in standard form and tows up to 9,500 lbs. For everyday driving, moderate towing, and keeping fuel costs down, the TurboMax is genuinely impressive with its 8-speed automatic. If you're towing 11,000-13,300 lbs regularly, want the V8 sound and throttle response, or just prefer eight cylinders, the 5.3L and 6.2L are outstanding with their 10-speed automatics. The Duramax diesel is the move if you tow often and want 28 MPG highway with 495 lb-ft of torque. Compare all four engines ›
What kind of gas mileage does the 2026 Silverado 1500 get?
Varies by engine. The 2.7L TurboMax is most efficient at up to around 21 MPG combined in 2WD. The 5.3L V8 comes in around 18 MPG combined, and the 6.2L V8 is similar. The standout is the Duramax 3.0L Turbo-Diesel at up to 28 MPG highway — the best in the half-ton class, and no other truck in this segment currently offers a diesel. If you're putting serious highway miles on your truck or towing regularly, the Duramax pays for itself over time. 4WD, cab size, bed length, and driving style all affect real-world numbers.
Should I wait for the 2027 Silverado instead of buying a 2026?
The 2027 refresh will be exciting with new styling and an overhauled interior. But here's the reality: when a redesigned model launches, it almost always arrives at full MSRP with very limited rebates and incentives — GM has no reason to discount something with a line of buyers waiting. Meanwhile, the outgoing model year is where you find the deepest discounts GM will ever offer on that generation. Right now the 2026 has some of the strongest cash allowances and lease programs we've seen in years. You won't see anything close to those numbers on a 2027 when it first hits the lot.
What makes Marty's Chevrolet different?
We opened in 2016 with a simple idea: be a dealer for the people. No hidden fees, no pressure tactics, a team that actually listens to what you need. What safety features come standard on every 2026 Silverado?
Every 2026 Silverado 1500 comes standard with Chevy Safety Assist: Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Following Distance Indicator, and IntelliBeam automatic high beams. Also standard: StabiliTrak, rear vision camera, Teen Driver, Rear Seat Reminder, and OnStar Safety and Security. Move up to LTZ, High Country, or ZR2 and you can add HD Surround Vision with up to 14 camera views, Trailer Side Blind Zone Alert, and Rear Cross Traffic Braking.
Can I order a Silverado built to my exact specs?
You can do either. We keep a strong selection in stock across trims and configurations. If we don't have the exact combination you want, we can locate one from another dealer or place a factory order to your specs. Factory orders take longer but you get the truck built exactly the way you want. Call 508-417-8675 or stop by and we will figure out the best path.
Can I get pre-approved for financing before I visit?
Absolutely. Apply for credit before you step foot on the lot. Pre-approval gives you a realistic picture of what you can afford and speeds up the process when you visit. Our finance team works with multiple banks and lenders so they shop the deal for you to find the best rate. Whether you want to purchase or lease, having financing sorted before you arrive puts you in a stronger position.
