Custom Factory Order
Build your perfect Silverado HD: choose 2500HD or 3500HD, gas or Duramax diesel, regular/double/crew cab, 6.75' or 8' bed, and trim level. We walk you through build-and-price, submit the order to Chevy, and keep you updated. Lock in April incentives on order date.
Most editions and packages ship in limited volume. Tell us which one you are after and we will check incoming allocations and get you on the list.
Ask About Incoming Allocations →Silverado HD vs. Ford Super Duty.
The Super Duty is the closest cross-shop. Published specs from both manufacturers, no cherry-picking. We sell Chevys, but you deserve an honest comparison—including where Ford wins.
The honest verdict: Ford wins the halo tow numbers—40,000 lbs of gooseneck tow and 1,200 lb-ft of diesel torque from the Power Stroke HO. If your truck has to move a 39,000-pound load, the F-350 is your truck. For every other HD use case—daily towing under 36,000 lbs, commercial work, fleet duty, cross-country road trips—Silverado HD wins on standard torque, standard bed tie-downs (12 vs 6), Multi-Flex Tailgate availability, cabin room, the 10-speed Allison transmission, and 14 trailering camera views. On price, they're within $75 of each other at the entry level. We'll run actual deal numbers on a truck that fits your use case, not just the spec sheet.

Why should I buy a 2026 Silverado HD instead of the F-250 / F-350?
Honest: Chevy wins on standard torque (464 vs 445), bed tie-downs (12 vs 6), Multi-Flex Tailgate availability, cabin space, and the Allison 10-speed transmission. Ford wins on diesel halo numbers (500 HP / 1,200 lb-ft / 40,000 lb gooseneck). For most HD use cases under 36,000 lb tow, Silverado HD is the better truck.
Is the Duramax diesel worth the $10K upgrade over the 6.6L gas?
Worth it if you tow regularly over 15,000 lbs, make long road trips (diesel has range advantage), keep the truck 5+ years, or need the 36,000-lb gooseneck capability. Not worth it for occasional tow, short commute, or if you want the lowest up-front cost. Gas V8 401 HP / 464 lb-ft is still a very capable truck.
How much can the 2026 Silverado HD tow?
Per Chevrolet, max available trailering is 36,000 lbs with the 6.6L Duramax turbo-diesel V8 (properly equipped 3500HD DRW). The 6.6L V8 gas tops out at 19,080 lbs max available. Your actual tow rating depends on cab, bed, rear-wheel config, hitch setup, and GCWR — we can spec the right truck for your specific trailer.
What's the difference between 2500HD and 3500HD?
2500HD is single-rear-wheel (SRW) only. 3500HD steps up to higher GVWR, higher payload, and the option of dual rear wheel (DRW) for commercial fleet and heavy gooseneck towing. The 36,000-lb max gooseneck rating requires the 3500HD DRW with the Duramax. If you need payload above about 4,000 lbs or you tow a large gooseneck regularly, the 3500HD DRW is the right truck.
Do I need a DRW (dually) or is SRW enough?
DRW (dual rear wheels) is required for the heaviest gooseneck ratings and the highest payload ratings. SRW works for most daily tow-and-haul, parks easier, and costs less. If you're consistently towing heavy gooseneck (above about 25,000 lbs) or hauling the heaviest commercial loads, DRW is the clear upgrade. Our team will run your specific use case through GM's Trailering Guide before you order.
What trims are available for 2026?
2500HD: six trims (WT, Custom, LT, LTZ, ZR2, High Country). 3500HD: four trims (WT, LT, LTZ, High Country—Chevy dropped Custom and ZR2 from 3500HD for 2026). LT and LTZ are 4WD-only across both series. LTZ is Crew Cab only.
Which Silverado HD is the best value?
For most buyers: LT Crew Cab 4WD 2500HD at $52,600 with the gas V8—gets you 13.4\" touchscreen, HD Surround Vision, Pro Trailering package, and 401 HP / 464 lb-ft without jumping to LTZ price. Add the Duramax ($10K) if you tow heavy. For max work: WT 3500HD DRW with Duramax (contact us for pricing on your configuration). ZR2 (2500HD only, $73,200) for off-road halo buyers.
What's new on the 2026 Silverado HD?
New White Sands and Polar White Tricoat colors. 12-spoke 20-inch wheel design. Integrated trailer brake controller now standard. ZR2 adds Multi-Flex Tailgate and Technology Package (rear camera mirror + 15" head-up display) standard. LTZ Double Cab eliminated. LT and LTZ now 4WD-only. 3500HD dropped Custom trim and no longer offers ZR2.
Can I still get 2WD / rear-wheel drive?
Yes on WT and Custom. For 2026, LT and LTZ are 4WD-only (Chevy dropped RWD on those trims). All Chassis-Cab 3500HDs still offer RWD.
How much does the Duramax cost to fill up?
The 6.6L Duramax runs on regular diesel. At $4/gal diesel and ~15 MPG combined, about $95 to fill a 24-gallon tank. Range is roughly 360 miles per tank. Duramax typically goes 300K miles with routine maintenance.
What makes Marty's Chevrolet different?
We opened in 2016 with a simple idea: be a dealer for the people. No hidden fees, no pressure tactics, a team that actually listens. We're right on the Cape in Bourne at 420 MacArthur Blvd — no fighting traffic on Route 128 or I-93 to buy a truck. Hours: Mon-Thu 9-7, Fri 9-6, Sat 9-4. ASE-certified techs with full Chevrolet diagnostic equipment on site. We're a small business ourselves and understand that trust is earned, not assumed.
What safety features are standard?
Chevy Safety Assist is standard on every 2026 Silverado HD: automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, following distance indicator, front pedestrian braking, IntelliBeam auto high beams. Plus HD Rear Vision Camera, StabiliTrak, Teen Driver, and OnStar Safety and Security. Trailer-side features include integrated brake controller (now standard 2026), available Trailer Sway Control, and up to 14 available camera views with Transparent Trailer View.
What's the max payload?
Max payload varies significantly by cab, bed, drivetrain, and whether you are in a 2500HD or 3500HD SRW/DRW. The 3500HD DRW Regular Cab is the heaviest-payload configuration. For your exact trim and build, we will pull the published payload rating off the window sticker before you commit — exact numbers depend on your options list.
Does the Silverado HD have Super Cruise?
Available on the High Country trim (both 2500HD and 3500HD). Hands-free driving on approximately 400,000 miles of compatible roads, including towing capability (Super Cruise with trailers is available). Requires OnStar subscription after trial.
Can I order a Silverado HD built to my specs?
Yes. We keep a healthy HD inventory across trims and configurations, but HD trucks often trade in fewer combinations than light-duty. If we don't have the exact truck you want, we can locate one from another dealer or place a factory order. Factory orders typically take 10-14 weeks; lock in current incentives at order date.
How does the Silverado HD compare to the GMC Sierra HD?
Mechanically identical—same 6.6L V8 gas, same 6.6L Duramax, same 10-speed Allison, same chassis, same factory (Flint, Michigan). Trim positioning differs: Sierra HD leans more upscale with AT4 and AT4X trim (roughly analogous to Silverado HD LTZ / ZR2). Sierra HD typically runs $1,500-$3,000 more trim-for-trim. Silverado HD is higher-volume, often better incentive availability.
What's the warranty?
3 years / 36,000 miles bumper-to-bumper, 5 years / 60,000 miles powertrain, 6 years / 100,000 miles corrosion, plus roadside assistance and courtesy transportation during warranty repairs. The Duramax adds a 5 year / 100,000 mile diesel-specific warranty.
Is the Silverado HD made in the USA?
Yes. Every 2026 Silverado HD is assembled at GM's Flint Assembly plant in Flint, Michigan—the same plant that has built HD Chevys and GMCs for decades. The 6.6L V8 gas and 6.6L Duramax engines are also GM-built in North America.
How fast is the Silverado HD ZR2 0-60?
Approximately 6.0-6.5 seconds with the Duramax—very quick for a 7,500+ lb truck thanks to 975 lb-ft of torque. The gas V8 is closer to 7.5-8 seconds. The ZR2's mud-terrain tires and 1.5-inch lift add a few tenths to stock. (Independent testing; manufacturer doesn't publish 0-60 for HD.)
Can I get pre-approved for financing before I visit?
Yes. Our finance team will run you through GM Financial and a network of banks to get pre-approved in about 10-15 minutes. Call 508-417-8675 or start online. Pre-approval locks in your rate, tells you the ceiling on what you can spend, and speeds up the paperwork at pickup.
What deals are currently available on the 2026 Silverado HD?
Through April 30, 2026: 3.9% APR for 60 months for well-qualified buyers on the Silverado HD. Plus $1,000 Customer Cash across all trims. Costco members stack $1,250 (Executive) or $1,000 (standard) on top—up to $2,250 total with Costco Executive. Additional programs for military, first responders, educators, healthcare workers, college grads, and current GM lessees. Call 508-417-8675.
Is the 2026 Silverado HD reliable?
Strong track record. J.D. Power named the 2025 Silverado HD “America's Most Dependable Heavy-Duty Pickup”—Silverado HD has been America's Most Awarded HD Truck for new vehicle quality for a decade running. The 6.6L V8 and Duramax + Allison 10-speed combo has been proven over millions of miles in fleet and commercial service. Our service center is staffed with ASE-certified GM techs with HD-specific training.
